Those party mad guys from Boatshed were at it again this weekend at Strictly Sail in St Pete, Florida.

With sprits high from a highly successful Ft Lauderdale Boat Show last week, how could we raise the roof yet again and get a bigger crowd all revved up to the wonderful world of Boatshed.com?

Well Saturday evening provided the perfect excuse for the party of all parties. Boatshed were the official sponsors to the Latitudes & Attitudes bash held by Bob Bitchin and his crew and Boatshed’s Fizz@5 spilled over into 2000 plus boat mad dudes enjoying free beer and pizza and dancing the night away to Eric Stone and his band.

Along with the party, Boatshed donated a “Day on The Bay” sail prize for the nightly raffle with Josie from the American Sailing School who specializes in teaching ladies and couples to sail in harmony together. “There’s no yelling on my boat”!

This was also the perfect setting for the US launch of Boatshed’s record breaking friend, Dee Caffari’s new book “Against The Flow” which was a big hit with all the ladies who were keen to get their copy and read the inspiring story of a teacher who became the first woman to sail solo non–stop around the world against the prevailing winds and currents. Nice read Dee, you’re a true inspiration.
